Ok, so again blogging doesn't come easy for me and I really just need to take the time to do it. There isn't a lot of new information coming from the deep South, but you know the longer we are here, the more we LOVE it. The people are surprising nice and the seasons just can't be beat.
Anyways, here are some of the latest and greatest in Eichelberger news....
-Tomorrow, Carowinds opens for the year and the children are so excited! So, crazy me decided to bribe them with being good and keeping their rooms clean and we will go on Friday. Well, they succeeded and so I guess I am taking them. It should be fun.
-We have had quite a bit of ran over the last couple of weeks so it is a good feeling knowing that the lake levels are back up. However, we are still in drought status and still cannot water our lawns and landscaping.
-We will be updating our family photo in the next week or so to include Caden. Rob is having a hard time seeing photos without Caden. So, I bought outfits for Easter/family photos. Hopefully, we can get all 6 of us to sit still and smile at the same time.
-Rob's work is really picking up. He is very rarely at the branch because he is out doing deliveries for his clients. The branch has laid off several employees because of the economy and it just makes Rob's job the more stressful.
-All of the children are good. It is so hard watching them grow up. Caleb is more like a young boy now. Colin is growing up so much that it is scary. I can't believe he will be in middle school next year. Chloe, well, we all know her. She is into dolling herself up more than ever. She is constantly putting on globs of lip gloss and then is right at my feet when I am getting ready. She wants to put on everything that I do. And Caden, man if that boy doesn't have a ball in his hand, he is screaming. We can't keep him indoors, so it is a good thing we live in the South. He escapes when ever he can. His favorite, and possibly only, word he knows is Mommy. Everything is Mommy!! I love it and his voice when he says it is so sweet. They all are really wonderful children.
-Rob and I are looking to escape for a long(er) weekend. We have a package to Charleston, SC that needs to be used this summer, so anyone willing to come and watch the children for a weekend, we are taking any offers (free of charge). We promise, we won't charge you to watch them!! Just kidding. But we are looking forward to a short get-a-way. And neither of us have been to Charleston, so we are very excited about that.
We hope all is well with everyone and sorry this blog is long.
Love.
