A Day in the Life of Chloe...

So, yesterday was just one of those days that you hate to see any of your children go through. The kids go to Awanas at our church on Sunday evenings for usually 2 hours, last night we got a phone call towards the end of the evening that Chloe got bumped by one of the adults carrying his baby and her mouth was cut and bleeding. Rob and I drove up to the church right away and found her with and ice bag on her upper lip. She looked so pitiful. It was a pretty deep cut, but Rob felt that it wasn't bad enough for stitches. I, however, would have taken her right in to be checked out. Well, she wouldn't eat or drink anything last night, and this morning I think she was hungry enough to at least try. She did eat 2 waffles and drank some apple juice. However, her mouth is bruised on the left side and the inside of the lip is gaping open. Yuck....but take a look for yourself...
Later that evening our neighbor, Ashley, came knocking on our door. Not knowing what had happened to Chloe, she brought her two very special gifts. A Hello Kitty lamp and toaster!! Chloe was so excited that she was willing to make toast to eat. That didn't work though, she tried to eat the very soft toast, but she couldn't handle it. So, this morning we made the waffles in the new toaster. Thank you Ashley for the wonderful gifts!!

Tune in tomorrow for a Day in the Life of ?????...

Chloe, as well as all your children, are so beautiful. I hope that she recovers quickly and isn't in too much pain. Love you guys and wish we lived closer.
