I have been very busy this week and I will explain why in a minute, but here are a few things going on here in Rock Hill.
- First things first, we celebrated a 2 year milestone on Tuesday, the 20th. Two years ago we moved down here to the sunny south. It has been 2 wonderful years, and we have seen a lot of growth through our marriage, in our children and our spiritual life. If you ever just pick up and move your family 700 miles away from family and friends, you have to find something stable in your life and that would be the Lord.
- And now I can finally let the cat out of the bag...(you thought I was going to announce I was pregnant, NOT!!). But, my husband will be celebrating his 40th birthday this coming Tuesday, the 27th, and I have planned and schemed a surprise weekend away in Kentucky, where we will be meeting his family. His brother, Troy and his family, his sister, Kristy and her family, and his mother will be joining us for the weekend. I am so excited that it is just about killing me to keep this secret from him and our kids. Rob believes we are going to the mountains with my sister and her family. So, I have him thinking we are driving about 4 hours away, however, it is more like a 6 hour drive. I am pretty sure he does not have a clue as to what is really going on, but I wouldn't put it past him to just play along either. I don't know...we will just have to see.
Anyways, I will be back here posting on Tuesday and I will let everyone know if I pulled one off on Rob or not.
