A life of disappointments

I try hard to really look forward to events in my life, however, over the years I have also learned not to get my hopes up because things always end in disappointment for me. And so it has happened again. I mistakenly thought that Rob didn't have to work this Saturday because he worked last Saturday, well that was a day he had traded with a co-worker, so now he is back on schedule and this is his weekend to work. Well, shucks because that means we there is nobody here to watch the kids on Saturday morning, which means I cannot attend the CMA Music Festival this weekend. I was already going to hire our pastor's daughter to watch the kids on Friday, so I can leave early for Nashville, but we can't afford or should not spend the money on a babysitter 2 days in a row. So, again my excitement has been extinguished and I will spend the weekend with my family and still have a wonderful time with them.

I'm sorry. I'm sure you'll have a wonderful weekend anyway. Turn up the radio to country and you and the kids can have your own country festival with games and karaoke! I bet you and the kids could have a blast.
