So, my kids asked me yesterday who I am inviting to my birthday party and with a glad heart I said, as a grown up, I don't have birthday parties. They were very disappointed to find that out. Caleb was shocked to hear that adults don't have parties.
Does this mean that we should lay off the big birthday parties we have for them as children so they are not disappointed as adults? Or just let them realize on their own that birthday's become less important the older they get?
