Holiday Decorating

I believe that I can justify Christmas decorating when it is 19 degrees outside right now. To those of you up north, this doesn't sound so cold, but it is really cold here! As I am typing this, however, I am listening to "White Christmas" and am actually holding out hope for a white Christmas this year. If the temperature is this low, then it is actually possible. Oh wait...that would mean we would have to get precipitation as well, ok maybe it isn't possible after all.

By the way, Rob always holds to his guns about listening to Christmas music or decorating before Thanksgiving...it is a no-no in his world. He will have a wonderful surprise when he gets home this afternoon! :-)

I agree! No Christmas decorations until after Thanksgiving! My mom is even worse. Her birthday is Dec 9 so to avoid feeling like she has a Christmas b-day, she refuses to decorate until after Dec. 9. I tend to wait until around then as well. But I keep mine up into January. It's the same length of time as the early birds, I just start later.
How'd Rob like the Thanksgiving Christmas theme?
