"Miracle"???? on the Hudson
The media has again taken something that obviously had the hand on God all over it and turned it into an heroic act on the pilot. Granted, the pilot did an outstanding job taking control of the situation and the plane and bringing 155 lives to safety. Listening to the news casts this morning shown a light on another miracle. As some passengers recalled the events that unfolded 15 hours prior, they all talked about prayers. Once the announcement was made to brace for landing, many, if not all, the passengers started praying. One born-again Christian even started praying over the intercom, a passenger commented. I firmly believe that God was with those birds, with everyone on the plane and all over the air making sure no other aircraft or watercraft were involved. And maybe God just needed to bring one of the 155 passengers on-board into his loving arms and through the incident brought two or even more. We may never know, but this was no Miracle, it was the work of God on the lives of lost people in this world.
