Attempt

For those of you who do come and visit my blog, here is my attempt to update it. There is so many things that I can write on, but it is so hard for me put all the thoughts that go through my head into words and then onto the keyboard. So, here are some events that have been happening in the Eichelberger household.

- The boys are full-swing into basketball. Caleb plays 4 days a week, 2 days of practice and 2 days of games. Colin plays 2 days. Saturday's are crazy because both the boys play usually a couple of hours apart at the same gym, so we run to the 1st game, grab lunch and head to the 2nd game. Caleb is having a blast learning the fundamentals of the game. We have been working with him on staying under the basket to get rebounds. Since he has caught on, he has scored quite a few points. Colin is learning to be strong under the basket. He is definitely one of the tallest on the court, so can post up well, however, he is a little timid and can get pushed around some. But, he can really make a great jump shot from the block once he gets the ball.

- Baseball starts next Saturday for Colin, so he will be doubling up on sports for a few weeks. He will go to a skills evaluation next week and will then be placed on a team from there. We are excited about him playing in a really competitive league this year!

- I have been overwhelmed since the beginning of the year with the yearbook for Caleb's school. Wow, what a task to oversee and tackle. I really enjoyed getting into the school and taking pictures of all the kid and getting to know the teachers better. Everyone at his school is so great and I am looking forward to seeing the final outcome!

4. Rob is very busy at work right now. His hours are crazy and his boss just has him running everywhere. I miss having him at home, but I know we are getting a paycheck right now and that is a blessing in itself.

5. Chloe is really growing up on us. It is very depressing knowing that she will start Kindergarten in the fall. She recently attended the Father/Daughter Valentine's Dance with Rob, of course, she had a blast and enjoyed having daddy all to herself that night.

- Caden is your normal 2 year old! I can't say he has exactly hit the "terrible twos", but he has his moments. He really is an awesome kid and has made us laugh many times! Right now he is very into Thomas and Cars. He started into Cars recently and tries very hard to make a revving (sp?) engine sound. He can be very funny sometimes. He has really been a blessing to this family and everybody loves watching him grow in language and activity.

Well, I think that is about all from the South. Please keep us in your prayers as we feel that God has some really big plans for our family in the future. We don't know what it is, but right now we are being still and knowing that God is in control!!
